Astribank Firmware Loading Issue with DAHDI 2.3

Problem

Astribank users who have installed DAHDI version 2.3 may experience a problem with loading of the Astribank firmware. If the problem exists the device is shown in the lsusb output as:

e4e4:1161

instead of:

e4e4:1162

Solution

The problem has been solved in DAHDI version 2.4.

If for whatever reason it is not possible to upgrade DAHDI to version 2.4, then the problem can be fixed by replacing the /usr/share/dahdi/xpp_fxloader file with a new file which can be downloaded from this link:

http://updates.xorcom.com/~xorcom/xpp_fxloader

If your PBX is connected to the Internet then you can replace the file as follows:

cd /usr/share/dahdi

mv xpp_fxloader xpp_fxloader.bak

wget http://updates.xorcom.com/~xorcom/xpp_fxloader
