New packages for XR1000/2000/3000 have been released. See instructions for upgrading the software.
Fixed Problems
- The PCM synchronization between Astribank devices has been improved.
- The DAHDI spans are now registered consistently after reboot.
- The registration order of Astribank DAHDI spans as per USB connectors defined in the /etc/dahdi/xpp_order file now works as designed.
- It is now possible to create the Rapid Tunneling connection via
the Web interface, under all circumstances.
Changes
- T1 CAS support has been implemented.
- The following TwinStar-related features have been implemented:
* /etc/init.d/dahdi script may be called from the /usr/share/dahdi/astribank_hook script.
This is necessary when using TwinStar and all configured Astribank devices have been
switched to the backup server, which will then be activated.
* A new parameter called XPP_HOTPLUG_DAHDI has been implemented in the DAHDI
initialization scripts. This parameter must be defined as XPP_HOTPLUG_DAHDI=yes
in the /etc/dahdi/init.conf file for TwinStar servers.
* There is now an option to install special Astribank USB firmware called USB_TWS.hex.
When this firmware is installed, Astribank will periodically switch between USB ports
until an active server is found. The regular USB_FW.hex, in contrast, will keep the
“main” USB socket activated after the device has been switched on. This new option
ensures that the Astribank will connect to the backup server if the primary server has
malfunctioned (due to an electrical outage) and the Astribank was powered off/on.
- The DAHDI hardware detection and configuration script (detect_zap) now creates FXS
extension numbers starting from 201 instead of 401. This avoids the possible conflict
between extension 411 and the standard FreePBX feature code for “Phonebook dial-by-name
directory”.
