Xorcom's Asterisk PBX systems come in two series, each suiting a different size and/or type of installation:

XR Series - Standard IP-PBX	XE Series - Enhanced IP-PBX
Enterprise VoIP PBX - XR3000 supports up to 1,000 users	Enhanced enterprise VoIP PBX - XE3000 supports up to 1,000 users
Business VoIP PBX - XR2000 supports up to 200 users	Enhanced Business VoIP PBX - XE2000 supports up to 200 users
Small business VoIP PBX - XR1000 supports up to 30 users	TwinStar Server Redundancy - Special configuration optimized for automatic failover of entire PBX and based on XE series
For businesses with standard telephony requirements, where telephone traffic is typically at 40% usage, the XR series provides a reliable and cost-effective solution for three sizes of organizations.	For businesses whose call volumes are higher than 40%, and/or are running additional applications which mandate a more powerful phone system, and/or have stricter policies about networking and reliability, the XE series is the right choice.
