Xorcom has developed a new and innovative way to connect analog telephone sets and peripheral devices to Asterisk PBX servers. The Astribank–8 connects to an Asterisk server via a standard USB–2 port and automatically installs itself using the Xorcom Rapid™ Asterisk distribution; there is no need to open panels or perform complex configurations. The Astribank–8 provides high sound quality via eight FXS ports, and also includes interfaces for peripheral analog applications, such as alarm systems, intercoms, etc., which can be configured using the Asterisk dialing plan.

The Convergence India 2006 conference provides the infocomm industry with an ideal platform for business networking. It is the largest and most influential exhibition and conference of its kind in the South Asian region.
