Asterisk PBX Solutions from Xorcom featured in Significant Announcements at Digium Telephony ITEXPO

Xorcom will demonstrate new Asterisk based PBX appliance, fail-over method, support system and branding options at IP Communications Industry’s Leading Event at Miami Beach Convention Center in February

January 20, 2009 – Teradyon, Israel – Xorcom, a privately-held manufacturer of business telephony interfaces and appliances based on Asterisk open-source software, announces its participation in the 2009 Digium Asterisk World at the ITEXPO East Conference. Xorcom will be exhibiting new Asterisk based PBX solutions and services at the event (booth D-05), hosted at the Miami Beach Convention Center, from February 2nd through February 4th.

Significant Announcements Planned by Xorcom

Xorcom will make many significant announcements at the event, including:

• official launch of updated low-end IP-PBX model, the XR1000™, now based on an Intel processor
• introduction of a fail-over method for complete Asterisk system redundancy
• implementation of a new support utility that creates business opportunities for Asterisk professionals
• new options for Xorcom hardware branding to increase reseller value perception

Xorcom Presentations Focused on Enterprise Telephony Challenges

In addition to its sponsorship of the event, Xorcom will be giving a presentation entitled “True Redundancy Solution for Asterisk PBX with Multiple Telephony Interfaces” on Wednesday, February 4th at 1:00 PM in the main Presentation Theatre.
