Disaster Recovery Utility for Xorcom IP-PBX

The Xorcom Live Rescue DOK connects to your computer's USB port to provide disaster recovery for your Asterisk-based PBX.

The Xorcom Live Rescue™ (XLR) is a bootable Disk-on-Key (DOK) that can run the Xorcom XR1000, XR2000 and XR3000 Asterisk-based PBX directly from the IP-PBX USB port. It is not sold separately, rather it is an option that is created by copying a backup produced by the Xorcom Rapid Recovery backup and restore utility on a 4 GB DOK (minimum size).

It enables simple, safe and speedy disaster recovery for Xorcom's IP-PBX solutions in case of a faulty configuration, disk crash, or other disaster.

This solution enables seamless operation until such time as maintenance can be scheduled conveniently.

To prepare the XLR, use the Xorcom Rapid Recovery™ utility and any 4 GB DOK (such as the one pictured at left). Follow the instructions in the Xorcom Rapid Recovery User Guide.
