The Xorcom R2 module supports the E1 protocol.
The hardware used in this module supports T1 CAS and E1/T1 PRI as well.

R2 Models
The Xorcom R2 module supports four configurations:
- 1 port (single E1 R2) supporting 30 channels
- 2 ports (dual E1 R2) supporting 60 channels
- 3 ports (tri E1 R2) supporting 90 channels
- 4 ports (quad E1 R2) supporting 120 channels

System Information
Each port has two connectors: one for TE and the other for NT settings, so no manual NT/TE setting is required. Status LEDs indicate active settings (TE or NT) and line status (no
activity, layer 1 active, layer 2 active).
The R2 module is available in both the Astribank full size (1U) chassis as well as in the compact 10" units.
One R2 module (with up to four R2 ports) may be installed in a single Astribank, XR2000 or XR3000 unit.
