Trunk-to-Trunk and more in CompletePBX 5.0.4

Nov 27, 2016 | CompletePBX Change Log, VoIP PBX News and Blog, VoIP PBX Technical Updates

In release 5.0.4 we have introduced several cool new features that add to usability, security and flexibility.

Here is a short video about the main changes:

Trunk-to-Trunk:  It is now possible to define a trunk as the inbound call destination in the Inbound Routes dialog.  This is useful if you want to connect CompletePBX to a legacy PBX, for example.  Once there are available trunks in the system, Trunks will appear as one of the possible destinations in Inbound Route.

Auto-Suggest new extension: Now when user open either new extension the system auto-suggests the next available extension.  The new extension number will be the highest extension number +1.  The minimum a user now has to do in order to create a new extension with SIP device is simply to add the user’s name and hit enter.

Password strength indicator has been added to the Extensions and the Hot Desking dialogs. The indicator is a colored bar that appears under the password field.  For weak passwords the bar is red, for medium strength passwords the bar is yellow and for strong passwords the bar is green.

PBX status reports have been added. This report allows viewing the currently active PBX channels, SIP registrations, hints, voice mail boxes and queues statuses.

Auto-clear search box:  The global search box content is cleaned up automatically after the search has been completed. It allows the user to enter a new string for search without having to delete the old text.

Now it is possible to save create new technology profiles. The problem was introduced in v.5.0.3 and fixed now.

Many other fixes and improvements
