In this release: New PMS interface features for hotel phones systems, new queue management options, additional IP phone model to EPM, system improvements and bug fixes.
IMPORTANT NOTE! When upgrading from version 5.0.59 or older, follow the following procedure (click to expand)
If you are upgrading a Spark system, you may ignore the special instructions. For any other system of version 5.0.59 or lower please perform the following steps:
1. run
yum install xorcom-centos-release
2. run yum update
This will ensure the system will be updated from the correct repositories.
PBX Improvements
Hotel Phone Systems
- It is now possible to configure the length (number of digits) that will be considered a local call. Previously, it was hard-coded to numbers shorter than 11 digits in the USA and shorter than 8 digits in other locations.
- The SO (“Service Outlet”) field in now can be added to the PS request sent to the PMS via the FIAS protocol. It is required for interoperability with some billing systems.
- All the ordered wake-up calls are now deleted when an emplty date & time is received in the WC FIAS command
IP Phone Provisioning
- Snom D150 model added to Endpoint Manager (EPM)
Queues
- It is now possible to configure a ring-back tone for a queue and music-on-hold for a call being put on hold by that queue. To configure use “r” in the Dial Profile -> Custom Options field.
- It is now possible to configure Queues so that answered calls will be handled by a custom context after the queue agent hangs up. To configure, use the “c” option in the Dial Profile -> Custom Options field and set the queue’s Last Destination accordingly.
- It is now possible to set queues to mark calls as answered elsewhere. To configure this use the “C” option in Dial Profile -> Custom Options field.
System
- Trunk description is now globally unique

It is not possible to change the Intrusion Prevention status (v. 5.2.25)

Complete Concierge
- Call cost calculation – Complete Concierge added a full minute to the bill when the call was of a round duration (e.g. 4:00 was billed as 5:00)
- Wake-up call cancellation from PMS doesn’t honor timestamp

Ring Groups, Dial Profiles modules not opening in Debian 12 based systems

- -k option doesn’t work on a non-default path.
