PBX Improvements

Hospitality

  • Paging is no longer limited to 20 extensions
  • Authentication can now be set to paging in order to avoid unauthorized access
  • Multicast paging can now be configured directly in the Paging & Intercom dialogue. This is useful when many devices should be used for paging while using minimal resources.
  • NOTE: for multicast to work properly, the phones and PBX should be on the same network (this can’t be used on MT Manager tenants, for example).

DND status changes done via feature code are now registered in the CDR as follows:

IP Phone Provisioning

  • It is now possible to export, import, and duplicate templates in Endpoint Manager.
  • Export – saves the changes from the default template to a file that can be imported to another CompletePBX system.
  • NOTE: the exported file is not meant to be changed manually. Make all changes in the original template before exporting.
  • Duplicate – creates an identical template on the same machine.
  • Import – creates a new template based on the imported file.
  • NOTE:  when creating the new template it has to be assigned a unique name on that system.
  • Endpoint Manager now supports Yealink DECT base stations:
    • W70B
    • W80
  • Added provisioning in additional Yealink phones:
    • T31W
    • T34W
    • T44W
    • T44U

Additional PBX Improvements

  • It is now possible to dial a phone number to off-hook an analog line (FXO). The caller hears the dial tone signal from the PSTN and then dials the rest of the number directly to the PSTN. A similar behavior can be also configured for the ISDN lines (BRI and PRI).

  • CompletePBX tenants based on Debian 12 are now available.
