This release introduces several new features, improvements to existing functionality, localization updates, a new API endpoint, and important bug fixes.
IMPORTANT NOTE! When upgrading from version 5.0.59 or older, follow the following procedure (click to expand)
If you are upgrading a Spark system, you may ignore the special instructions. For any other system of version 5.0.59 or lower please perform the following steps:
1. run
yum install xorcom-centos-release
2. run yum update
This will ensure the system will be updated from the correct repositories.
PBX Improvements
General
- Missed calls email notification – A PBX user can optionally receive email notifications for missed calls to their extension. These notifications can be configured to include all missed calls or only those from external numbers.

- Enabled call recording functionality for the Custom Destinations module.

- Redesigned Time Group module for improved user-friendliness, easier configuration, and future support for recurring holidays.

- The administrative web interface now enables administrators to configure personalized voicemail greetings for individual extensions.

IP Phone Provisioning
- VTech phones now default to the auto-provisioning URL when reset to factory settings.
- Added provisioning support for Yealink T5xW models.
- Added Polycom to the list of supported brands in the Phonebook module.
- Resolved an issue with Poly Zero-Touch provisioning caused by an outdated API.
User Interface
- The CID Modifier module now redirects to the ‘Create New’ screen after saving a record.
- Return Callback Prefix in Queues and Ring Groups now supports Hebrew characters.
- Implemented validation for deny/permit rules in the Asterisk Manager Users module.
- Real-time duplicate checks now show feedback as users type, instead of only after submitting the form.
Localization
- Portuguese language support (pt_BR) has been added to the Web interface.
API
- Introduced a new API for managing Time Group Exception Dates.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue on CentOS-based systems that prevented the viewing of backup files. This is a regression issue since v.5.2.36.1.
- Fixed a regression from v5.2.36 where users were unable to create new CDR filters.
- Fixed an issue that caused Dial Restriction Rules password protection to malfunction when a call did not originate from a PBX extension.
- Fixed incorrect display information for picked-up calls in the Call Detail Records (CDR).
