New CompletePBX Release – 5.2.39

In this release:

  • This release brings extensive improvements to our PBX system, “Cradle to Grave” call history log, automatic voicemail messages deletion, Zero Touch support for the HTek and IPConnect SIP phones, and bug fixes.
IMPORTANT NOTE! When upgrading from version 5.0.59 or older, follow the following procedure (click to expand)

 

If you are upgrading a Spark system, you may ignore the special instructions.
For any other system of version 5.0.59 or lower please perform the following steps:

1. run
yum install xorcom-centos-release

2.  run
yum update

This will ensure the system will be updated from the correct repositories.

User InterfacePBX Improvements

General

  •  Detailed CDR is now available.  It is now possible to check the call processing steps from “Cradle to Grave”, showing each step of the call, linking to services/destinations in use and showing which party terminated the call.

  • To view the log for a specific call, simply click the ‘+‘ icon in the Info column (1). You can also download the relevant CEL records for that specific call by clicking the download icon (2).

  • It is now possible to automatically delete outdated voicemail messages.  A new “Delete Voicemail” task has been added within the Task Manager:

  • Voicemail messages can be deleted based on a combination of different criteria:
      • By extension: Messages can be deleted for a specific extension or a list of extensions. You also have the option to delete messages for all extensions.
    • By date:
    • Messages older than a specific date.
    • Messages received on a specific date.
    • Keep latest: A set number of the most recent messages can be kept per extension.

Complete Concierge – Hospitality Module

  • “Guest Move to Another Room” PMS command now supports the moving of voicemail messages, ordered wakeup calls, and the “Do not Disturb” status to the new guest room’s extension. Note: in the case of moving from/to a room with more than one extension (not two devices, but two separate numbers) this feature will not be supported due to privacy concerns and all messages and data will be deleted.
  • Handling of the guest type (“Guest” or “Crue Member”) that is a part of the FCUI protocol was added. This parameter affects the room extension class of service.

User Interface

    • Endpoint Manager -> Templates:  Improved Advanced Settings interface.
      • The table was re-arranged to make it easier to read. 
      • A search box was added to allow users to easily find the parameter or setting group they are looking for.

API

  • Introduced a new API for getting records from the CEL (“Channel Event Log”) database table. The cel API function allows getting the CEL records according to a date/time period or according to a linkedid value.

    Bug Fixes

    • Fixed a regression problem in receiving PMS messages via UHLL protocol
    • Fixed an interoperability issue with Cloud Recording service. 
    • Sometimes, the Blue Steel X LCD panel remained stuck with the “Reloading” message displayed.
    • The “Endpoint Manager PnP” service works correctly again in the Debian 12 environment.
