CompletePBX 5.1.26.2 – PBX Software Updates

In this update: A fix for a regression problem that was introduced in v.5.1.26 that interprets not correctly some characters (e.g., ?, ;, @) if they are defined in the SIP device password field.

IMPORTANT NOTE! When upgrading from version 5.0.59 or older, follow the following procedure (click to expand)
If you are upgrading a Spark system, you may ignore the special instructions.
For any other system of version 5.0.59 or lower please perform the following steps:

1. run
yum install xorcom-centos-release

2.  run
yum update

This will ensure the system will be updated from the correct repositories.

Bug Fixes

  • This version solves the problem of IP phones not being able to register after upgrading to v.5.1.26.
  • The problem was caused in SIP devices with passwords that contain some specific characters (e.g., ?;@).
  • Updating the system will allow the devices to register normally without any further action needed on the users’ side.
