New CompletePBX Release – 5.2.0

In this release: Improved language support, provisioning Yealink T3 IP phone series, return transferred calls to transferrer – new options, bug fixes.

IMPORTANT NOTE! When upgrading from version 5.0.59 or older, follow the following procedure (click to expand)
If you are upgrading a Spark system, you may ignore the special instructions.
For any other system of version 5.0.59 or lower please perform the following steps:

1. run
yum install xorcom-centos-release

2.  run
yum update

This will ensure the system will be updated from the correct repositories.

PBX Improvements

Queue numbers can now be changed for saved queues.

Languages

StatExplorer, Wallboards, and Switchboard now automatically set the language according to the CompletePBX user’s language.

Hebrew option added to CompletePBX GUI – Hebrew is currently not supported for the administration interface, but selecting Hebrew as the language for a user will automatically set this language for StatExplorer, Wallboards, and Switchboard.

New IP Phones Provisioning

Yealink T3 series is now supported in Endpoint Manager. The newly supported models are:

  • Yealink T30/T30P
  • Yealink T31/T31P/T31G
  • Yealink T33P/T33G
Yealink SIP-T33G IP Phone

Transferred calls now return to the caller if not answered. To set the required system behavior go to Settings -> System General -> Transferrer Setting.

Note: this affects unattended transfer only.

The available options are:

  • Return to transferrer if no answer
  • Return to transferrer if no answer or voicemail
  • Do not return to the transferrer

Bug Fixes

Diversion header on trunk using CID instead of DID. This improves the compatibility with some ITSPs. Before this fix, it was not always possible to forward incoming calls to an external destination).
