Improved Parking, Search, Device Status and more in CompletePBX 5.0.6

CompletePBX 5.0.6 adds new features, and fixes a few bugs.  It also includes an important security update.

Improvements

Importnat security update

An upgrade of Asterisk version to 13.13.1 solves an significant security issue.  It is highly recommended to upgrade as soon as possible.

After the update you should be able to see Asterisk version 13.13.1 when logging in via terminal:

Parking

  • More than one parking services can be used now in each range.
  • It is now possible to define BLF for parking lots – the phone buttons will show status and by clicking the button the call is picked from parking.

Search Devices – It is now possible to search for devices in the global search box.

Paging & Intercom codes – It is now possible to use *, # and + as part of a dial code for Paging & Intercom.

Inbound routes can now include + character in phone number pattern.

Extension Status shows devices – it is now possible to see all devices associated with a specific extension and their properties in the Extension Status dialog.

Alias for an Authorization Code can contains spaces now (PBX | Class of Service | Authorization Codes)

Improved cross validation of configured dialed numbers, such as feature codes, queues, ring group, phone number etc. for uniqueness.  The system will not allow using the same number twice.

Security and Email Settings in API – Added REST API functions that allow third-party applications to apply the firewall, e-mail server and intrusion detection settings

Bug Fixes

Network interfaces – Now changes of the network settings (ADMIN | System Settings | Network Settings)  don’t cause the network interfaces renaming (for example:  eth0 -> em0, eth1->p1s0 etc). The problem might distort the Switch Board run-time licensing checking.

Endpoint Manager – Fixed a problem that, in certain circumstances, prevented the Endpoint Manager to reboot the SIP phones.

Queue Announcement – default queue announcement issue fixed.
