Keytouch PBX Replaced with Asterisk Server While Preserving BRI Lines

A transitional approach is always preferable to a forklift approach, as far as the customer is concerned. So, certified Xorcom reseller Replentec, based in Ireland, proposed to their long-standing customer Cavanagh Isdell & Co a move to VoIP that would replace their keytouch-type PBX with an Asterisk-based server, and an Astribank to provide the connectivity to the existing BRI lines.

The entire switchover process took place over a single weekend, including installation and connection of equipment and new VoIP handsets.
