Papua New Guinea (PNG) marked a significant milestone on Tuesday, 05.09.2023, by opening its embassy in Jerusalem. The ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel and Prime Minister James Marape of PNG.
“Today is a milestone moment for my country Papua New Guinea,” said Prime Minister of PNG, James Marape. “We are here to give respect to the people of Israel to the fullest.”

Amos Goldman, the CEO of Amboya, and Eran Gal, the CEO of Xorcom, were specially invited to the ceremony as technology suppliers for Telikom PNG, the country’s leading telecommunications provider.
In a conversation with Goldman and Gal, Prime Minister Marape explicitly mentioned his interest in working closely with companies like Xorcom and Amboya to modernize and scale up technology solutions in PNG. He sees this as a crucial step toward achieving his vision of a digitally empowered Papua New Guinea.
Prime Minister James Marape expressed his wish for Amos Goldman, the CEO of Amboya, and Eran Gal, the CEO of Xorcom, to visit Papua New Guinea soon.
